Luxyco

Operational software built around the complete workflow.

A full-stack business management platform for professional carpet-care companies. Luxyco was rebuilt from scratch using the lessons from my earlier CarpetCareManager project and is already used in daily operations by a company while development continues through a three-phase roadmap.

Private system — no public demo.

Problem

Professional carpet-care businesses need much more than simple order tracking. Customers, orders, individual carpet pieces, pricing, production status, deliveries, printing, staff permissions and business data all belong to the same operational workflow. I wanted to build one system that could handle that daily work without forcing employees to switch between disconnected tools.

Key features

Complete customer, order and carpet-piece management
Configurable role-based access and permissions
QR scanning workflow for identifying and updating individual carpet pieces
Automatic printing of labels and customer receipts during order processing
Customer history with orders, revenue, addresses and internal notes
Reusable and configurable architecture designed for multiple companies

Technical approach

I rebuilt the application from scratch with React 19, TypeScript and TanStack Query on the frontend, and NestJS, Prisma and MySQL on the backend. Redis is used for caching, while Docker supports the development and deployment environment. The frontend follows a reusable component structure so the same codebase can be adapted for different companies, while roles and permissions determine which parts of the application each account can access. Phase 1 focused on making the complete everyday operational workflow usable in production, including customers, orders, products, printing and scanning.

What I’d improve

The application is still actively evolving. Phase 2 focuses on business metrics, financial insights and employee management, including revenue over custom periods, order and carpet status statistics, vacation and sick-day tracking and related operational data. Phase 3 is planned around demand forecasting, using historical orders together with factors such as seasonality, holidays and weather to estimate future workload.
